Job Summary for Snowflake Platform/Database Engineer

• Own and evolve the enterprise Snowflake platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and stability.
• Drive innovation by evaluating, integrating, and rolling out new Snowflake features.
• Lead reliability engineering efforts, including disaster recovery, backup, and resiliency strategies.
• Automate platform deployment and operations using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake development and operations.
• Partner with application teams for onboarding, integration, and optimal platform usage.
• Provide expert-level (L3) support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex platform issues.
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architecture in alignment with enterprise standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and training materials for global teams.
• Collaborate with US and offshore teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on Snowflake best practices and optimization.
• Work with Snowflake and external vendors to resolve issues and enhance platform capabilities.
