Job Title: Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Location: Iselin, NJ 08830 (MetroPark)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite per week
Interview: Potential final face-to-face interview in NYC or Jersey City
W2 role
Looking for Senior Level Candiates only 12 to 15years of Expereince

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Python, SQL, and enterprise data warehousing. Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Python programming experience.

  • 5+ years of SQL Server development, working with large datasets.

  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying ETL pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.

  • Strong experience with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses (Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift).

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including OLTP, OLAP, Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, and Data Modeling.

  • Experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouse solutions.

  • Knowledge of event-driven and streaming data technologies.

  • Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

  • Strong understanding of cloud data architecture, data integration, security, and governance.

  • Experience optimizing and troubleshooting Databricks jobs for performance and scalability.

  • Strong architectural and design skills, including enterprise cloud data platform migration experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Banking or financial services domain experience.

  • Apache Airflow experience.

  • Relevant cloud certifications.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Additional Requirements:

  • Senior-level candidates only.

  • Local NJ/NY candidates strongly preferred.

  • Must be comfortable attending a potential final face-to-face interview in NYC or Jersey City.

  • Hybrid onsite requirement: 1–2 days per week in Iselin, NJ.
