As our Social Media Manager, you ll shape how Phoenix is seen across the Health & Safety industry!
Working closely with our experts, consultants and leadership team, you'll create content that builds credibility, grows our audience and supports business growth.
You'll own the direction of our social channels, turning complex health and safety topics into engaging, valuable content that people genuinely want to read, watch and share. You'll also use modern tools and AI to improve content quality, increase efficiency and uncover new opportunities.
You ll be responsible for:
Social strategy & brand presence
• Developing and delivering our social media strategy across key channels.
• Turning Phoenix's expertise into engaging, audience-focused content.
• Shaping the look, feel and tone of our social presence.
• Using AI and other tools to improve content performance and insight.
Content creation & channel management (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram)
• Leading our LinkedIn presence and growing engagement with key audiences.
• Creating and optimising video and long-form content for YouTube.
• Showcasing our people, culture and expertise on Instagram.
• Making sure every piece of content has a clear purpose and adds value.
Community, campaigns & industry engagement
• Building relationships with industry bodies, partners and key influencers.
• Supporting webinars, events, campaigns and product launches through social.
• Contributing to industry conversations and helping strengthen Phoenix's profile.
• Amplifying the voices of our experts and leadership team.
Performance & continuous improvement
• Tracking engagement, audience growth and campaign performance.
• Using data and insights to refine content and improve results.
• Testing new formats, ideas and approaches to keep content fresh and effective.

What s the Most Challenging Thing About This Role
There's no shortage of opportunities to create content and engage audiences, so success comes from knowing where to focus your time for the greatest impact. You'll need to balance creativity with commercial thinking and prioritise activity that delivers meaningful results.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram dynamics in a B2B setting.
• A commercial mindset with understanding of how content supports demand.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating social content, including graphics, video and written content.
• A data-driven approach, with the ability to use insights to improve performance.
• Confidence engaging with industry conversations and building online communities.
• The ability to turn complex or technical topics into accessible content.
To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:
• Experience in the Health & Safety industry.
• Experience using platforms such as HubSpot, Shield or similar content scheduling platforms.
• Video editing skills and experience creating content for social channels.
