Job Description

Infrastructure Project Manager – Telephony / Network

  • Sheffield – 3 days per week onsite
  • £600–£650 per day inside IR35
  • 6-month initial contract, with potential for extension
  • January 2027 start

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to support a major global banking organisation, delivering technology change across private wire and dealer board infrastructure.

The successful candidate will take ownership of two key projects covering private wires and a dealer board upgrade, working closely with technology teams and stakeholders to drive delivery through the full project lifecycle.

We are looking for a strong Project Manager with a background delivering infrastructure change, ideally involving telephony, voice communications, network circuits and/or carrier services.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong Project Management experience delivering complex technology/infrastructure change

  • Experience within telephony, voice, communications infrastructure, network circuits or similar

  • Experience working with telecoms/network carriers and third-party providers

  • Strong planning, governance, RAID management and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable working directly with technical teams and driving delivery in a complex organisation

  • Previous banking or financial services experience, ideally within a Tier 1/global banking environment

Specific dealer board experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are equally interested in strong infrastructure Project Managers who have delivered relevant voice, telephony, communications or network circuit change.

The role is aligned to Sheffield and requires 3 days per week onsite.

Initial contract is expected to be 6 months, starting in January 2027, with potential for further extension.
