  • Generate and maintain technical documentation to support engineering designs and product releases.
  • Create and manage electrical Bills of Materials (BoMs).
  • Support engineering change processes, including revisions, lifecycle management, and ECO implementation within PLM systems.
  • Interpret technical specifications and customer requirements provided by Project Managers, Sales teams, and Engineering Management.
  • Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and product deployment.
  • Support the validation and verification of designs through testing, simulation, analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Contribute to the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to implement emerging technologies and product enhancements.
  • Support installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting activities both in the factory and at customer sites.
  • Identify opportunities for product optimization, performance improvement, and cost reduction.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company quality standards, engineering best practices, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver business objectives and project milestones.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc) or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in electrical controls, automation, or a related engineering environment.
  • Experience programming PLCs using Studio 5000, CoDeSys, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems and PLC-based automation.
  • Experience working with Rockwell environments and programming VFDs and/or servo drives.
  • Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support evolving project and business requirements.

Desirable

  • Experience working within industrial automation, machinery, or capital equipment environments.
  • Knowledge of engineering change processes, PLM systems, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), or commissioning activities.
