WE ARE HIRING | Senior StrongDM Engineer / PAM / IAM Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA or SNO, TX (100% Remote)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Experience: 14+ Years

We are looking for an experienced StrongDM Engineer with strong expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS, Kubernetes, and security automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, administer, and support StrongDM.
  • Manage gateways, resources, identities, roles, and access policies.
  • Implement PAM controls, least-privilege access, session auditing, and access governance.
  • Integrate StrongDM with AWS infrastructure and cloud resources.
  • Manage secure Kubernetes cluster access, namespaces, and RBAC.
  • Integrate enterprise IAM, SSO, and identity providers.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Support Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Git-based workflows.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, connectivity, and access issues.
  • Maintain security documentation, audit trails, and operational runbooks.

Required Technical Skills:

  • StrongDM – Hands-on enterprise administration experience.
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • AWS IAM, roles, policies, and permissions.
  • Kubernetes, RBAC, and cluster access management.
  • IAM, SSO, federation, and authentication.
  • Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
  • Terraform, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Linux, DNS, TLS/SSL, and TCP/IP networking.

Preferred Skills:

  • Okta / Microsoft Entra ID.
  • CyberArk / BeyondTrust / Delinea.
  • AWS and Kubernetes certifications.
  • Production support and incident management experience.

Ideal Candidate: A senior security engineer with hands-on StrongDM implementation and administration experience in enterprise cloud environments.
