Job description

Job Title: SAP Architect (S4/Hana)
Location: USA

Mandatory experience: SAP S/4 Hana, Professional Services Module and CFO and Accounting Background Billing/Invoicing

We need a hands-on, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SME who has experience configuring system settings, analyzing API payloads/logs, resolving L3 operational tickets in an ITSM queue, and managing project billing and revenue recognition logic.

  • Hands-on configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition for Professional Services, Customer & Internal Project Management, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements, Work Packages, and Resource Management.
  • Good understanding of Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR), Work-in-Progress (WIP) valuation, US GAAP / ASC-606 compliance, and real-time revenue posting into the Universal Journal.
  • Experience with Project Billing, Resource-Related Billing (RRB), Time & Materials (T&M) vs. Fixed-Fee billing plans, customer down payment processing, and Intercompany Project Services.
  • Thorough understanding of the End-to-End Professional Services Processes( Lead-to-Cash lifecycle, including time and expense tracking, bill rate and cost rate determination cards, partner realization, and unbilled fee aging).
  • Capability to investigate and resolve integration points connecting Professional Services with Financial Accounting (FI/CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Procurement (MM/Ariba/Fieldglass), and Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC).
  • Experience working with Key-User Extensibility (Custom Fields, Custom CDS Views, Custom Business Objects) and evaluating upgrade impacts on custom reporting data models.
  • Knowledge of Central Business Configuration (CBC), SSCUI settings, and the SAP Activate deployment framework.
