DevOps Engineer with Full Stack & Cloud
Location: Hopkins, MN - Hybrid
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:

  • Upgrading Jenkins deployment pipelines to Gitlab pipelines

  • Updating/Modernizing obsolescent components

  • Patching vulnerabilities
  • Documenting test cases in PractiTest
  • Automating functional test cases wherever possible
  • Implementing observability across all applications
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
  • Work with Product and Technical teams to get test cases documented and requirements for offshore teams
  • Upgrading Jenkins Pipelines/Improving Gitlab Pipelines
  • Integrating AI technologies where appropriate into Gitlab pipelines
  • Helping to create a consistent base observability stack with extensibility for customization
  • Patching and modernizing legacy code bases
What skills/technologies are required (please include the number of years of experience required)?
  • Gitlab CI/CD pipelines (5+ yrs)
  • AWS/Azure Cloud Deployments/Development (5+ yrs)
  • Full stack development (C# and/or Java backend, React frontend) (5+ yrs)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Some exposure to observability
  • Agile Methodology
  • Some Manual & Automated testing
What skills/attributes are preferred (these are a desired, not required)?
  • 2+ yrs Playwright and/or Postman automation testing
  • Experience with PractiTest
