OPA / Policy-as-Code Engineer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Implement policy enforcement, governance guardrails, and compliance validation integrated into blueprint provisioning workflows. This role translates Company's regulatory requirements into executable code that runs at deploy time. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•  Strong Open Policy Agent (OPA) experience 

•  Experience writing Rego policies 

•  Experience implementing Policy-as-Code in CI/CD pipelines 

•  Understanding of: 

•  Cloud governance 

•  Security guardrails 

•  Tagging standards 

•  Compliance controls 

•  Identity and access management 

•  Experience integrating OPA with: 

•  Terraform 

•  Jenkins 

•  Backstage 

•  Kubernetes / OpenShift 

•  Strong understanding of enterprise security patterns 

•  Ability to translate governance requirements into executable policies 

•  Policy-driven infrastructure automation
