Your new companyHays Technology is partnering with a leading Queensland Government department to recruit an experienced Full Stack Developer for a high-profile digital transformation program. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud-native applications that support critical services across Queensland while leveraging contemporary AWS technologies and engineering practices.
Your new roleAs a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting scalable cloud-native solutions across front-end, back-end and cloud infrastructure layers. Working within an agile delivery environment, you will contribute to the development of secure, event-driven applications and modern integration solutions built on AWS.
Key responsibilities will include:Developing modern web applications using React and TypeScriptDesigning and developing RESTful APIs and microservicesBuilding cloud-native applications within AWS environmentsImplementing event-driven and API-led integration solutionsDeveloping Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDKDesigning and supporting relational and NoSQL database solutionsContributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practicesSupporting application monitoring, observability and operational excellenceParticipating in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical design workshopsProducing technical documentation and knowledge transfer material
