Job Description

TechAGI Solutions is seeking a SQL Developer for an onsite opportunity in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing SQL queries, maintaining relational databases, and improving database performance. This role involves working with business and technical teams to support application data needs, reporting, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.

• Design and maintain database tables, relationships, indexes, and constraints.

• Analyze query execution plans and resolve database performance issues.

• Support data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation activities.

• Investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot database-related application issues.

• Translate business requirements into database solutions and reports.

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders on enhancements and production support.

• Document database changes, technical specifications, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SQL development and relational database concepts.

• Strong knowledge of joins, subqueries, common table expressions, window functions, and aggregate functions.

• Experience developing stored procedures, views, and database functions.

• Understanding of indexing, query optimization, transactions, and data integrity.

• Experience validating, reconciling, and troubleshooting data.

• Ability to interpret business requirements and work independently.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reporting tools and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with version control and database deployment practices.

• Experience supporting production databases and business applications.
