Dental Therapist – Temporary Cover

Location: Liverpool – The Dental House
Practice: PortmanDentex
Contract: Temporary cover, approximately 3–4 months
Days: Tuesday – Friday (4 days per week)
Start: Mid-December 2026
End: Approximately April 2027

We’re looking for a Dental Therapist to join The Dental House in Liverpool on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dentist looking for a 4-day-per-week position with a strong mix of private and NHS work, joining an established and supportive practice.

The role

The position offers a great mix of private dentistry, including general private treatments such as fillings, as well as private hygiene and referrals from our NHS associates.

There will also be some UDA activity, including children’s check-ups, with the UDA rate £13.

Key highlights:

Tuesday–Friday working week
Approximately 3–4 months of temporary cover
Start date: mid-December 2026
Cover expected through to around April 2027
Strong amount of private dentistry
Private hygiene opportunities
Referrals from NHS associates
Some UDA work, including children’s check-ups
UDA rate TBC
Established practice with a varied patient base

We’re looking for a Dental Therapist who is confident providing high-quality treatment and is comfortable working across both private and NHS treatment.
