Job Description

Electrical Calibration Technician | Amherst, NH, United States | On-site | $18 - $30/hour

This employer is a respected calibration services provider known for its commitment to accuracy and customer satisfaction. They are seeking a dedicated individual to join their skilled technical team and contribute to maintaining the integrity of vital testing equipment across various industries.

The Role

  • Calibrate a range of test instruments, including electrical, industrial, and temperature equipment.
  • Maintain and check company standards as assigned by the Lab Manager.
  • Collect and meticulously record calibration data, completing certifications and documenting out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training to expand expertise in calibration services and share knowledge with team members.
  • Observe all safety precautions and quality standards during task performance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers regarding calibration issues and procedures.

What You'll Need

  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Basic understanding of mathematics.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and under supervision.
  • Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical/dimensional equipment and instrumentation (preferred).
  • Experience with manual tools (preferred).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the calibration industry, even for entry-level candidates.
