This employer is a well-established entity in the maritime industry, seeking a skilled Project Controller to join their dynamic team. The Role

  • Provide commercial support, guidance, and monitoring for project development and execution.
  • Determine project costs and budgets based on defined work packages for ongoing calculation maintenance.
  • Review and validate demand requirements against the established budget.
  • Develop controlling KPIs based on cost calculations and actual costs.
  • Conduct assessments using metrics such as completion levels (including Earned Value Analysis) and progress tracking for work packages.
  • Monitor variances between planned and actual figures and develop corrective actions.
  • Contribute to cost reduction concepts and prepare risk assessments.
  • Prepare management reports, decision proposals, and meeting documentation.
  • Represent the department regarding budgets and costs to internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • Completed degree in Business Administration or Engineering with additional business qualifications.
  • Solid professional experience in project controlling and calculation, preferably in plant construction, shipbuilding, or a project organization with a matrix structure.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP, particularly CO/FI modules.
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, communicative, and skilled negotiator.
  • High degree of conceptual and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Independent work ethic and assertiveness.
  • Willingness to undergo a security check.
