Job description

We have an opening for Windows Engineering Manager

Location - Plano, TX, US (or) Reston, VA, US

Full time permanent position

Must-haves:
- 6 years of experience in IT engineering
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise desktop or end-user computing roles, including leadership responsibilities
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Windows in large enterprise environments
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune
- Strong understanding of VDI and remote computing technologies
- Automation and scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies
- Strong endpoint security and desktop networking knowledge
- Experience leading enterprise testing strategies, pilot programs, and vendor technical evaluations
- Leadership experience supporting thousands of endpoints across multiple locations and hybrid work models
- Direct experience with modern endpoint initiatives such as Windows 365 Cloud PC, Autopilot, Intune-first strategies, or major OS migrations
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Required Skills:
- Windows OS deployment, imaging, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
- Software distribution, patching, compliance, and co-management experience
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune
- Knowledge of Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, or similar virtual desktop technologies
- PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting and automation skills
- Experience with zero-touch provisioning and configuration management
- Knowledge of endpoint security including encryption, EDR, identity, and hardening
- Understanding of LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience leading technical teams in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience with POCs and data-driven platform and tooling recommendations
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience improving end-user computing through automation, analytics, or modern support models
