About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment Assistant to join our growing recruitment team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in recruitment and gain hands-on experience across candidate sourcing, applicant management, interview coordination and recruitment administration.

You will work closely with our recruitment team to identify potential candidates, manage applications and help deliver a smooth and professional candidate experience from initial contact through to placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and other recruitment channels.
  • Generate candidate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential applicants.
  • Review applications and CVs against role requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Contact candidates by phone, email and other communication channels.
  • Arrange and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and post engaging job adverts across recruitment platforms.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and social media activity to attract suitable candidates.
  • Assist with onboarding and pre-employment checks where required.
  • Keep recruitment records and documentation accurate and compliant.
  • Track candidate activity and recruitment progress.
  • Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident and professional when communicating with candidates.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable speaking to people over the phone.
  • Proactive and motivated to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office.
  • Interested in developing a long-term career in recruitment.
  • Previous recruitment, sales, customer service or administration experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
