Job Description

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of experience in information security, IT support, or systems administration
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
- Knowledge of security fundamentals including vulnerability management, endpoint security, and access control
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Security+, CySA+, or other relevant cybersecurity certification
- Exposure to SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk
- Experience with Microsoft Defender or other endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
- Familiarity with scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Internship or lab experience supporting security operations
- Understanding of cloud security concepts (Azure or AWS)
