Location: Milwaukee, WI 

Job Summary

Our client implemented an SAP Plant solution approximately 12 months ago and is looking for an experienced SAP PP/MM/WM Consultant to support ongoing production operations, resolve system issues, and deliver enhancements. The consultant will provide functional support across SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Warehouse Management (WM) in an SAP ECC 6.0 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide functional support for SAP PP, MM, and WM modules in an SAP ECC 6.0 environment.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production support issues and SAP-related trouble tickets.
Support manufacturing and plant operations, ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day business processes.
Analyze issues related to production planning, material availability, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Support SAP PP processes, including production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, and MRP.
Support SAP MM processes, including purchasing, goods movements, inventory management, and material master data.
Assist with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) implementation, configuration, testing, and integration with MM and PP processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with functional enhancements.
Gather business requirements, analyze functional gaps, and prepare functional specifications as needed.
Work with ABAP developers and technical teams to support custom developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
Perform functional testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Coordinate with business users, plant personnel, and cross-functional SAP teams to resolve issues.
Maintain support documentation, issue logs, root-cause analyses, and functional process documentation.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on experience with SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP WM (Warehouse Management).
Strong experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 implementations or production environments.
Experience in SAP production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of manufacturing and plant operations.
Experience with SAP MRP, production orders, inventory management, procurement, and goods movements.
Knowledge of integration between SAP PP, MM, and WM.
Experience supporting enhancements, functional testing, and business process improvements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting a recently implemented SAP plant or manufacturing facility.
Experience with SAP WM implementation or rollout projects.
Exposure to warehouse processes such as inbound and outbound movements, transfer orders, storage bins, putaway, picking, and inventory movements.
Experience working with SAP ABAP and technical teams on enhancements and defect resolution.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments.
