Job Description
Role: Construction Project Manager
Location: Oxford
Rate: £400 - £450pd
Project: New Technology Institute Development
Start Date: September 21/09/26
M&E specialist seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Non-Working Supervisor on a prestigious new Technology Institute project in Oxford.
Undertaking major electrical infrastructure works involving the installation and termination of SWA sub-main cables, ranging from 4 Core 25mm up to 4 Core 240mm SWA.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site activities and electrical installation teams.
Oversee pulling and installation of SWA sub-main cables (4 Core 25mm - 240mm).
Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and project scheduling.
Ensure all works are completed to specification, programme, and quality standards.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety compliance.
Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and site inspections.
Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and project management teams.
Produce progress reports, manage site documentation, and maintain project records.
Must Have:
Strong background in commercial / industrial electrical installations.
Experience managing SWA cable installation and sub-main infrastructure works.
SMSTS (Preferred)
ECS / CSCS
Ability to manage works within a live construction environment.
Flexibility to work Overtime where required including nights.
Package
Project duration: Approximately 5 months.
Start date: 21/09/26
Accommodation and sustenance fully paid for by the company.
Competitive rate (dependent on experience).
