Job Description

Instandhaltungsmechaniker | Schkopau, Germany | On-site

This employer is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their established team, focusing on the maintenance and repair of essential industrial equipment. The Role

  • Perform repair, maintenance, and inspection of compressors, gearboxes, extruders, and other rotating machinery.
  • Conduct assembly and commissioning at customer sites.
  • Analyze and resolve technical malfunctions.
  • Independently dismantle and assemble equipment, including complete units, at the service center.
  • Ensure timely completion of service tasks and uphold high quality standards.
  • Document all work processes, generating reports and quality assessments.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic or a comparable qualification.
  • Ideally, knowledge and experience in maintaining compressors, turbines, gearboxes, or other rotating machinery.
  • Strong quality awareness, commitment, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for occasional on-site assignments and possession of a valid driver's license (Class B).
  • Good teamwork, communication skills, and proficient German language abilities.
