Senior Field Engineer / Technical Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Field Engineer / Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Pomona, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate will lead PCAI field engineering efforts for complex system infrastructure, driving qualification, integration, and technical issue resolution across hardware, Linux, networking, and storage environments.
Rate Range: $40/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Field Engineer / Technical Lead Responsibilities include:

• Lead PCAI field engineering activities for system qualification, infrastructure integration, and technical issue resolution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex hardware, Linux, networking, and storage-related issues.
• Drive escalation management, conduct root-cause analysis (RCA), and develop corrective-action plans.
• Support engineering debugging, validation, and deployment of HPE-approved solutions.
• Create and maintain diagnostic tools, automation processes, and knowledge transfer documentation.
• Deliver technical investigation reports, readiness assessments, and remediation recommendations to ensure system stability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in system infrastructure engineering, solution integration, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in Linux administration, networking, storage systems, and hardware diagnostics.
• Proven experience leading root-cause analysis, escalation management, and corrective-action initiatives.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $53.00 per hour
