Senior Research Data Analyst

Job Overview

Our Federal Government client is seeking a Senior Research Data Analyst to enhance business decision-making by working with stakeholders to understand their needs, conducting research and extracting relevant data, performing analyses, and delivering reports to technical and non-technical audiences.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Experience undertaking data analysis, reporting, research or evaluation activities, including the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, prepare, analyse and interpret information from multiple sources.
• Ability to develop and maintain datasets, data models, measures, indicators or other analytical products that support evidence-informed decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, briefs and presentations for diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently under limited direction and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes

Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates who currently hold or able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances are highly desirable.
