Lead Full Stack Java Engineering Lead

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Java Engineer with strong technical leadership and hands-on development experience to join a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java development, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies, as well as a proven track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Java engineers in the design, development, and deployment of software solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables
• Architect and implement full stack solutions using Java, React.js, and other technologies
• Ensure code quality and best practices are maintained throughout the development process
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay current on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the team

Requirements

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience
• 8+ years of Java development
• 5+ years of Spring Boot
• 5+ years of technical/team leadership
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Experience with ReactJS or Angular + Node.js
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM
• Experience with Kafka for event streaming
• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architecture
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and JPA/Hibernate
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD
• Mobile/Telecommunications experience - Required
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Kiro, or similar

Preferred Skills

• Experience with device provisioning, mobile activation, SIM/eSIM, carrier integrations
• Experience with MVNO platforms
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or Generative AI
