Blue Yonder/JDA Supply Chain Planning Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder/JDA Supply Chain Planning Solutions Architect to lead a strategic supply chain transformation initiative for a leading semiconductor manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, designing, and implementing a next-generation supply chain planning platform, with a strong focus on Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) planning solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, solution architecture, and digital transformation initiatives within semiconductor or complex manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Platform Evaluation

• Assess and compare supply chain planning platforms, including Blue Yonder/JDA and other industry-leading solutions.
• Conduct current-state assessments and identify supply chain process improvement opportunities.
• Lead fit-gap analysis and provide recommendations for platform selection.
• Develop business cases and implementation strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define future-state supply chain planning processes and workflows.
• Design scalable solution architectures supporting demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and production planning.
• Create integration strategies between ERP, MES, manufacturing, and supply chain applications.
• Develop implementation roadmaps and transformation plans.

Implementation Leadership

• Lead end-to-end implementation of the selected planning platform.
• Oversee configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
• Manage data migration, solution validation, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technology capabilities.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and IT leadership teams.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Drive organizational change management and user adoption strategies.
• Provide executive-level updates, recommendations, and project status reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of Supply Chain Planning and Supply Chain Management experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder/JDA Planning solutions.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Demand Planning
  • Supply Planning
  • Inventory Optimization
  • Production Planning
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Experience conducting platform evaluations, software selections, and fit-gap assessments.
• Proven success leading enterprise-scale supply chain planning implementations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and semiconductor supply chain processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Semiconductor, High-Tech Manufacturing, Electronics, or Industrial Manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience integrating Blue Yonder with ERP, MES, and downstream planning applications.
• Supply Chain certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent.
• Prior consulting or digital transformation experience.
