Job Requirements


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for delivering projects with good quality and on time delivery.
  • Take ownership and responsibility of assigned task.
  • Support team in analyzing requirements and deriving project solutions.
  • Interact with customer to present technical solutions and verify technical aspect of project.
  • Build customer relation through good interactions and responsiveness.
  • Adhere to ISO/quality and technical standards of Quest in execution of the project.


Required SKILLS:

  • Familiar with ISA, IEC, ASME, CE and others related standards.
  • Knowledge on Hazardous Area Classifications, ATEX, IP ratings.
  • Review vendors'/sub-vendors' technical drawings/documents.
  • Knowledge of control system architecture and Equipment Obsolescence Determination.
  • Hands on experience on alarm management software and tools.
  • Good knowledge on surveillance for critical instruments and control systems.
  • Hands on experience in DCS, ESD's, SIS, SSD, PLCs, Fire and gas detection system.
  • Knowledge about Factory Acceptance Test/Site Acceptance Test of various vendor packages.
  • Reviewing functional HAZAOP, loop drawings, and other instrument documents.
  • Knowledge of Compressor Control Systems, Vibration Monitoring Systems, Various Gas & Liquid Analyzers.
  • Knowledge of SIL assessment/verification for Safety functions using ExSilentia, Exida, SIL Solver.
  • Working experience in SAP, PM and MM Modules knowledge is required.
  • To be able to Work independently & complete the assigned task, interact with customer for scope understanding technical discussion and clarifications.
  • Process focus and continuous improvement orientation.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

B.E/B.Tech/BS (Instrumentation & Control) having 3-12 years of work experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/LNG industry


Preferred Skills

  • SAP PM/MM Modules, MS Office, Tableau, exSILentia (Exida), GE Meridium software.
  • Certification in functional safety, control systems are preferable.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the other teams.
