Data Analyst V

This is a full-time contract opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst with a leading Canadian financial institution. This fully remote role is based in Canada and will focus on using Python, SQL, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, large language models, and agentic AI technologies to create analytics, automation, and AI-enabled business solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analytics or AI professional to work on impactful projects at the forefront of banking technology. The successful candidate will partner with business teams to identify opportunities, design practical AI and automation solutions, and deliver insights that improve decision-making and operational efficiency. You will gain exposure to emerging AI tools, responsible AI practices, automation, and governance.
Contract Duration: 10 Months
Required Skills & Experience

• 5-7 years of professional experience in data analytics, business analytics, automation, AI solutions, or a related field
• Strong experience with Python & SQL
• Experience working with LLM's, Gen AI, or Agentic AI solutions
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or related Microsoft technologies
• Experience designing, testing, or implementing AI-powered automation

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in a bank, financial institution, insurance company, fintech, or another regulated industry
• Experience with AI governance, data privacy, risk management, or other responsible AI practices
