Overview
I'm currently working with a very highly regarded Professional Services organisation seeking a HRIS & Payroll Administrator to join their HR Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel and data analysis skills who enjoys working with large datasets, investigating discrepancies, producing reports, and supporting payroll processes. The role would suit candidates from HR, payroll, finance, data administration, or analytical backgrounds looking to further develop their systems and reporting expertise. This role will be based in their very modern City of London office 3 day per week (4 days for the first 12 weeks).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and validate data between HR and payroll systems.
- Support monthly payroll processes and carry out payroll reconciliations.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders across the business.
- Analyse employee data, investigate discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy.
- Support HR systems administration and ongoing process improvements.
- Assist with annual reporting projects, reviews, and wider HR operations activities.
Role Requirements
- Previous experience within payroll, HR systems, HR administration, finance, or reporting roles would be advantageous.
- Data validation and reconciliation.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and identifying anomalies.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident learning new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong Excel skills, including: XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, IF Statements and Pivot Tables.
- Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
