Position Overview:

• Seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead Agile software development teams and manage projects supporting the State of Texas education system.
• The Project Manager will report to the Director of the IT Program Management Office (PMO) and will be responsible for managing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with agency priorities.

Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate is a senior Agile Project Manager with strong public-sector/state government project management experience, extensive Scrum and SDLC expertise, and at least 6 years of hands-on Jira experience, including Jira Advanced Roadmaps, backlog management, sprint planning, reporting, and cross-team planning.
