The Role

• Undertake practical phases at a local company, gaining hands-on experience in social work settings.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of areas such as socio-psychiatric support, child and youth welfare, and educational support.
• Support colleagues in providing practical, goal-oriented pedagogical guidance within individuals' living environments and family life.
• Specialize in one of four areas: Childhood Pedagogy, Social Work with Adults, Children and Youth Services, or School-Based Social Work.
• Work in a supportive educational environment with small group learning and personal interaction with instructors.

What You'll Need

• (Technical) college entrance qualification (Abitur), a qualified vocational qualification, or state-certified technician/business administrator status.
• German language proficiency at B2 level.
• Demonstrable qualities of diligence, responsibility, and discretion.
• Empathy, compassion, enjoyment in working with people, and resilience.
• Prior experience through a voluntary social year (FSJ), federal voluntary service, or other volunteer work is beneficial.
