About Our Client
Michael Page is hiring in the Business Services industry in New York.
Job Description
  • Develop firmware for embedded devices and technology products.
  • Write clear, maintainable code that meets product requirements.
  • Test firmware functions and troubleshoot issues to improve reliability.
  • Debug hardware and software interactions during development.
  • Document firmware designs, code changes, and test results.
  • Work with technology colleagues to define and deliver firmware updates.
  • Review code and resolve defects before release.
  • Maintain existing firmware and address product issues as they arise.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Firmware Engineer should have:
  • Experience developing and maintaining firmware for embedded systems.
  • Experience writing, testing, and debugging embedded software.
  • Ability to investigate hardware and software issues and identify practical fixes.
  • Experience documenting code, test results, and firmware changes.
  • Ability to work with colleagues to deliver firmware updates.
  • Experience reviewing code and resolving software defects.
