Role: Al Test Automation Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term on Contract

The Al Architect will lead and own the strategic vision and execution of Al-powered test automation initiatives across the Quality Engineering (QE) organization. This role requires a strong blend of in-depth test automation expertise, architectural leadership, and advanced knowledge in Al technologies-especially Generative Al and Agentic Al-to revolutionize testing frameworks and enable predictive, intelligent, and adaptive automation solutions. The architect will define best practices, frameworks, and governance to embed Al capabilities across UI, API, and data testing layers, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and outcome-driven automation at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities:

·        Strategic Leadership: Own the Al-driven test automation road map and champion Al integration into testing frameworks and pipelines across product teams.

·        Al Innovation & Enablement: Harness Gen Al and Agentic Al technologies to build self-healing tests, intelligent test data generation, predictive QA analytics, and autonomous test agents.

·        Architecture & Framework Development: Design and evolve scalable Al-powered automation frameworks that integrate seamlessly with CI/CD and DevOps processes, covering UI, API, and data layers.

·        Governance & Standards: Establish standards, KPIs, and governance models for Al test automation to ensure quality, security, transparency, and measurable ROI.

·        Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner closely with product teams, QE engineers, data scientists, and DevOps to embed Al-driven automation practices. Mentor engineers to adopt Al capabilities effectively and responsibly.

·        Performance & Investment Metrics: Define and track KPIs, total cost of ownership (TCO), and effectiveness metrics to guide Al automation investments and demonstrate continuous value.

·        Risk Management & Ethical Al Use: Ensure Al initiatives conform to ethical guidelines, data privacy laws, and organizational risk policies.

Required Skills:

·        Proven experience in enterprise test automation architecture, with a focus on Al-powered solutions.

·        Deep expertise in Gen Al, Agentic Al, machine learning models applicable to test automation, natural language processing (NLP), and Al orchestration platforms.

·        Strong software engineering background with proficiency in modern test automation tools and frameworks (Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, Appium, REST-Assured, etc.).

·        Experience with Al-powered testing tools or developing custom Al solutions for automated testing, test data generation, defect prediction, or autonomous testing agents.

·        Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native applications, and infrastructure-as-code.

·        Exceptional problem-solving, architectural design, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional Al initiatives.
