About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Test/Automation Engineer to join our fast-paced technical team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our core software applications and enterprise platforms. Beyond traditional web and API automation, you will also collaborate with data science and engineering teams to validate cutting-edge AI/ML model outputs, OCR/ICR extractions, and confidence scores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium or Cypress for web-based applications.
• Perform comprehensive API Testing and validation using tools like Postman or SoapUI to ensure seamless backend integrations.
• Conduct rigorous Performance and Load Testing using JMeter to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal system scalability under high traffic.
• Write complex SQL queries for backend data validation, database verification, and test data setup.
• Validate complex AI/ML model outputs, including accuracy testing for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) / ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) extraction pipelines.
• Monitor and analyze confidence score thresholds to ensure AI model prediction reliability meets production standards.
• Track bugs, manage test cycles, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams using JIRA.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Test Automation: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
• API Testing: Proven experience in testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using Postman or SoapUI.
• Performance Testing: Experience in creating and executing load, stress, and endurance test scripts using JMeter.
• Database Skills: Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Project Management Tools: Strong working knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking, test management, and agile workflows.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience in testing and validating AI/ML model outputs and data pipelines.
• Specialized experience in validating OCR/ICR extraction accuracy and tuning/evaluating confidence score thresholds.
