Job description

Contract Maintenance Engineer - 6 Month Contract

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an established logistics company on a 6-month contract, working for a client at a busy warehouse/distribution site.

The role:

  • Maintenance and fault-finding on overhead cranes and conveyors

  • Preventative and reactive maintenance

  • Working at height where required

  • Supporting the safe and efficient operation of site equipment

  • Monday-Friday, double day shift

We're looking for:

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience

  • Experience working on conveyors and overhead cranes is highly desirable

  • Comfortable working at height

  • Good understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work

  • Reliable, hands-on and able to work independently

Contract: 6 months
Shift: Monday-Friday, double days
IR35: Likely outside IR35, subject to final determination
Rate: Negotiable
Location: Warehouse/Distribution Site
