Technical Reporting Accountant - Christopher Janes Recruitment

Exciting opportunity with a well known city based insurance business. This is a broad, hands on Contract role, visible across the business. In the role you will provide high-quality management and financial reporting as well as supporting process improvement.

Duties will include:

1. Ownership of IFRS 17, IFRS 4 and UK GAAP Technical Close Process
2. Provide accurate and timely management and financial information
3. Quarterly IFRS 17, IFRS 4 and UK GAAP Closing pack production for Group Reporting
4. Perform analysis of movements in IFRS 17 balances.
5. Assist with external audit matters
6. Assist with the population of technical memorandums

Profile:

1. Qualified Accountant
2. Strong Insurance accounting experience
3. Involvement in the Technical close process of a general Insurer.
4. Knowledge of IFRS17 - Either implementation or BAU reporting experience
5. Analytical and MI Reporting Skills
