Designer Senior - Critical Infrastructure Solutions | Tysons, VA | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading provider of cyber-physical solutions for mission-critical facilities and global enterprises. The Role

  • Develop comprehensive physical layouts for electrical, communications, and other systems based on engineering designs and specifications.
  • Utilize BIM execution plans and project-specific design plans to define modeling requirements.
  • Perform basic capacity and voltage drop calculations to ensure accurate circuit and pathway sizing.
  • Model and coordinate electrical and low-voltage systems, resolving multi-trade conflicts.
  • Produce necessary drawings and sketches, ensuring quality review of completed work.
  • Work within a project VDC team under general supervision.

What You'll Need

  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and field installation best practices.
  • Proficiency in critical design software including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and MS Office.
  • A strong academic background with relevant years of experience (e.g., 10+ years with HS Diploma, 8+ with Associate's, 5+ with Bachelor's).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-discipline team and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated U.S. citizenship required for potential security clearance eligibility.
