Job Description

Role Summary
A CC&B Business Analyst is needed to manage and support a phased rollout of a complex Net Billing Tariff (NBT) initiative. This role involves overseeing multiple project phases, each targeting different customer segments, and collaborating closely with pricing and billing operations leadership. The position requires strong project management, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Own oversight and management of multiple phases of the Net Billing Tariff (NBT) project, ensuring successful implementation across distinct customer groups such as non-residential, aggregated load, and virtual net metering customers.
  • Understand and coordinate the interdependencies among the different project phases to ensure seamless execution.
  • Present complex billing and rate issues, solutions, and project updates to upper management and key stakeholders.
  • Provide peer coaching and problem-solving support to other product managers directing day-to-day project activities.
  • Perform quality control checks on requirements documents, design specifications, and testing strategies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support rate implementation processes, including standard rollout procedures and complex problem resolution.
  • Manage a high volume of meetings, documentation, and communication to facilitate project progress and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support the rollout of updated standards and processes related to billing system changes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of project deliverables and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide status updates on project milestones and risks.

Qualifications

  • Business analyst experience working on utility rate billing system implementations from either the business or IT perspective.
  • Rate product management or technical rate enrollment design experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project phases and coordinate large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present complex issues clearly to senior leadership.
  • Experience working on Net Billing tariff implementations or other IT rate projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of rate implementation processes, either internal or historic, is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills to navigate high-stakes meetings and stakeholder interactions.
  • Proficiency with Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) systems and Oracle’s Billing Cloud System (BCS).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work within standard business hours and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 - $49.00 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
