Job Description

Dental Assistant

Be part of something new from the very beginning!

We are opening a brand-new dental office in West Allis and are looking for an energetic, dependable, and personable Dental Assistant who wants more than just another dental assisting job.

This is an opportunity to join a new office at the ground level and grow with us as we build the practice and our team.

Because we are a new office, we are looking for someone who is flexible, takes initiative, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. In the beginning, everyone will wear multiple hats. As our patient base and team grow, your position will grow with us.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the dentist with general and restorative procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
  • Take digital X-rays and intraoral images
  • Set up and break down operatories
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols
  • Maintain instruments, supplies, and clinical inventory
  • Provide chairside assistance and anticipate the doctor's needs
  • Educate patients regarding treatment and post-operative instructions
  • Help maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes
  • Keep the clinical area organized, stocked, and running efficiently
  • Help establish systems and workflows for our new practice
  • Assist with front-office responsibilities when necessary, particularly while the practice is growing

Who We're Looking For

We want someone who is positive, reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoys working with patients.

You don't need to be the person who says, “That's not my job.” We're looking for the person who sees something that needs to be done and takes care of it.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has dental assisting experience
  • Is comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Has excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Is organized and attentive to detail
  • Works well alongside the doctor and other team members
  • Is comfortable with dental technology and willing to learn
  • Wants stability and the opportunity to grow with one practice
  • Is excited about helping create a great office rather than simply stepping into an established one
