Job Description

Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) - Manitowoc, WI
ABR Employment Services is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Manitowoc to hire an Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production equipment and the facility running safely, cleanly, and efficiently through preventative maintenance and timely mechanical/electrical repairs.
Schedule
  • 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday
  • Fridays 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (as needed)

Pay
  • Target pay: $30-$35/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and prevent breakdowns
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment
  • Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, sensors/switches, SSR relays, fans/blowers, and three-phase motors
  • Safely work with AC/DC, low voltage, and up to 480V systems
  • Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble machine parts using hand tools and lifting equipment (hoists, cranes, jacks, cranes, etc.)
  • Clean machines/parts and maintain a safe, organized work area
  • Document maintenance and repair activity and communicate repair needs to the team
  • Follow all company safety procedures to protect yourself and others

Qualifications
Quality-focused and safety-minded with strong troubleshooting skills, solid mechanical ability, and clear communication. Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and handling both machine repairs and general facility needs. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, electrical systems (including thermocouples/heating systems), sensors/switches, SSR relays, fans/blowers, and three-phase motors; familiarity with AC, DC, low voltage, and 480V.
