Job Description

We're looking for a practical and skilled Senior Data Software Engineer who possesses strong expertise in Apache Spark and large-scale distributed computing systems. The individual in this position will oversee the complete data infrastructure lifecycle, handling everything from building ingestion solutions to guaranteeing data pipelines remain reliable and scalable over time.

The ideal candidate will work well in team settings, partnering across different departments to convert complicated business needs into effective technical outcomes, all while upholding strict engineering and performance benchmarks.

Responsibilities Build and architect dependable data ingestion solutions and pipelines leveraging Cloud Native and Big Data technologies Oversee the entire technical stack, covering configuration management, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization Create and sustain scalable pipelines that enable effective data processing and analysis Work alongside cross-functional teams and data architects to understand business needs and convert them into technical requirements Direct and take part in code reviews and testing processes to guarantee compliance with standards, quality checkpoints, and SDLC best practices Produce and update comprehensive technical documentation across data engineering initiatives to promote clarity and shared understanding Identify and fix data-related problems promptly and effectively, ensuring solutions remain high-quality, dependable, and scalable Requirements At least 3 years working in Data Software Engineering with a concentration on large-scale distributed systems Strong skills in Python and SQL programming Significant practical background working with Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow Hands-on familiarity with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is considered a plus Hands-on expertise optimizing the performance of Apache Spark jobs Solid grasp of SDLC principles, quality checkpoints, and Agile practices Strong communication abilities with at least a B2+ level of English proficiency Self-driven, independent, and able to manage multiple projects at once while staying efficient
