Head of Solution & Platform Architecture - Cloud/Infrastructure/Applications

London | Hybrid 2-3 days per week | Permanent | Up to £160,000 + 30% bonus

Key Qualifier Question - Have you led and transformed an architecture function covering infrastructure/cloud plus applications or integration, in an enterprise organisation?

Head of Solution & Platform Architecture required to lead and transform a large-enterprise architecture function.

This is not a traditional Enterprise Architect role. The requirement is for somebody who has genuinely led an architecture capability and turned technology strategy into practical transformation.

Key requirements for the role:

Leadership of a Solution/Platform/Infrastructure Architecture function
Strong infrastructure, cloud and platform architecture
Applications and integration awareness
Large enterprise environments
Design Authority and architecture governance
Standards, patterns and technology roadmaps
Cloud/Legacy modernisation
Automation and technology simplification
Agile/product-led transformation
Sustained ownership of the architecture capability

The successful candidate will be a transformational architecture leader with infrastructure/platform depth and enough application awareness to create coherent end-to-end solutions.
