Job Description

Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), recently recognized as a 2025 Dallas Morning News Top Workplace and named to Becker’s list of 165 Top Places to Work in Healthcare, is seeking a Director, Strategic Growth and Integration.

Based out of our beautiful corporate headquarters in Plano, this leadership role offers an outstanding work environment and a vibrant company culture. At CHC, our team enjoys comprehensive benefits, including paid fitness memberships, tuition reimbursement, a generous PTO allowance and free covered parking.

Reporting to the SVP, Business Development and serving as a cross-functional connector, this role proactively engages internal department leaders, hospital partners, and executive stakeholders to identify underlying challenges, surface hidden opportunities, and drive collaborative solutions. Built on influence, trust, and alignment rather than direct departmental authority, the Director ensures people, resources, and strategic capabilities are seamlessly integrated to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Major Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Relationship Development

  • Partner with Business Development and service-line leaders to identify, evaluate, and secure new and expanded hospital partnerships.
  • Build and maintain trusted, executive-level relationships with hospital C-suite leaders, governing boards, and supply chain executives.
  • Apply expertise in GPO structures, healthcare contracting, and supply chain dynamics to uncover unique growth opportunities during partner discussions.

Cross-Functional Integration & Culture

  • Facilitate clear, ongoing communication between service-line leaders to ensure client requests and cross-department projects maintain momentum.
  • Establish efficient, repeatable processes for teams to share priorities, align on client needs, and track organizational progress.
  • Model and strengthen CHC’s core values of Respect, Integrity, and Stewardship to foster an inclusive, highly collaborative culture.

Storytelling & Brand Representation

  • Uncover and articulate compelling cross-departmental impact stories and client outcomes to ensure CHC’s external positioning accurately reflects its comprehensive service capabilities.
  • Represent CHC at key industry conferences, healthcare association events, and professional networks to expand organizational reputation and referral pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to align market messaging with grounded, real-world operational achievements without directly managing campaign budgets or strategy.

Strategic Initiatives & Execution

  • Lead priority cross-departmental initiatives from initial discovery through successful execution and delivery.
  • Translate high-level executive goals into clear operational plans, defining project ownership, key milestones, and measurable success metrics.
  • Engage and align technical experts across teams to solve complex organizational challenges collaboratively.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive professional experience in relationship-driven leadership, business development, or cross-functional operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Background in healthcare or multi-stakeholder environments preferred; working knowledge of GPO structures, healthcare contracting, or supply chain management is highly valued.
  • Leadership & Influence: Proven capacity to build trust, navigate complex organizational dynamics, and influence multidisciplinary teams without formal authority.
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage senior executive leadership effectively.
  • Adaptability: Self-directed, resilient, and highly comfortable operating within dynamic, fluid environments.

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Travel: Physical mobility and availability to travel up to 50% of the time, including the ability to drive up to 3 uninterrupted hours.
  • Physical Expectations: Standard office demands including regular walking, sitting, standing, reading reports/screens, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

A comprehensive health and welfare benefits package is offered as part of total compensation.

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Wellness Resources and other benefits
