Job Description

Door Engineer

The Role

As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will operate as a mobile technician servicing commercial clients within your designated territory. You will handle mechanical and electrical diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and rapid-response emergency repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission a varied range of products including roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, fire doors and sliding folding doors.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and electrical failures efficiently on site.
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure British Standards compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional representative of our brand.
  • Participate in a shared out-of-hours emergency standby rota.

Valid CSCS Card along with IPAF or PASMA certifications.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

  • Proven field experience working with industrial doors, loading bays, or automated gates.
  • Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical competency.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (clean preferred).
