The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech are looking to recruit a Graduate Project Engineer to join our Pipelines and Subsea Business Line in Aberdeen.

This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone who is newly graduated within a Mechanical Engineering based degree, is local to Aberdeen and is looking for a role within a Mechanical based service company in the Oil and Gas industry.

The role will involve assisting in the efficient and on-time delivery of specifically assigned projects to stakeholders as directed.

Under instruction, you will perform coordination of engineering and all other functions necessary for project delivery. Other office-based duties will also include assisting in the direct control of all operational and financial management activities to ensure effective project completion, project status reporting and project close-out documentation.

You will assist in ensuring materials, personnel and equipment are fit for purpose, available and dispatched in a timely manner for assigned activities.

You will also be responsible for the management, including tracking, control and progress reporting, of all costs associated with assigned activities or work scopes.

Experience Requirements

Essential:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or other similar degree with the Mechanical bias.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understands and interprets relevant standards, performs most tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Engages team support in making complex decisions (solving complex problems).
  • Interprets procedures within context of the situation, recognising when consultation is required.
  • Recognises and acts upon opportunities within own area of responsibility
