Job Description PositionOverview:

TheModel Management Support Officer plays a critical role in maintaining andsupporting the development and deployment of application models within theorganisation's systems. This includes supporting development teams with modelbuilds, environment configuration, release management, scripting, andcoordination of tools such as Guardien, CSE, and associated developmentenvironments. The role also includes collaboration with external softwarevendors, participation in project meetings, and continuous improvement ofsupporting processes and tools.

KeyResponsibilities: DailyActivities:

• Provide technicalsupport to developers related to model management, including Guardien,CSE, Report Composer, XML Composer, and PC-related issues.
  
• Communicate andresolve model management queries from development teams.
  
• Perform ad-hocmigrations and component publishing operations.
  
• Manage systemupdates including migration of changes to the controlled model and codegeneration.
  
• Generate and buildnew software releases (e.g. RegStar).
  
• Perform check-ins toTTN system and upload constructed modules to JFrog.
  
• Prepare Bitbucketrelease files for deployment.
  
• Transfer and enrolletter templates to Paris test server.
  
• Conductcross-release migrations, merges, and reworks.
  
• Prepare and configureUnix and Guardien environments.
  
• Validate and verifyrelease documentation and briefs.
  
• Synchronise andmaintain consistency across test environments.
  
• Maintain and enhancescripts to support development and model management activities.
  
• Prepare releasefiles for production deployment.
  
• Create and modifydatabase entities (tables) within CSE
  

Quarterly/ Strategic Activities:

• Install and upgradeCSE server software, including Gen and Guardien.
  
• Export models andmanage associated CSE model activities.
  
• Develop and maintainscripts utilised by Guardien.
  
• Liaise withthird-party software vendors such as IET, Broadcom, and Canam Software forsupport and integration.
  
• Represent ModelManagement at project planning and release meetings.
  
• Troubleshootserver-related issues, both proactively and reactively.
  
• Test and validatenew AVD (Application Virtual Desktop) configurations for Gen/Guardienenvironments.
  
• Design and buildmodels for special projects as required.
  

KeySkills and Experience:

• Strongexperience with Unix and general Unix system administration.
  
• Abilityto troubleshoot and resolve compiler/linker errors.
  
• Proficientin the use of Guardien and CSE for model management.
  
• Demonstrated abilityto support application developers in a technical environment
  
• Unixshell scripting proficiency.
  
• Experiencewith Perl scripting.
  
• Knowledgeof Windows batch scripting.
  
• Familiaritywith Windows Server management.
  
• Experience withdevelopment tools such as Report Composer and XML Composer
