PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Position Summary:
You will lead finance for a multi-entity group of operating companies. That means clean books, reliable reporting, thoughtful cash management, and a benefits program worthy of the people who work here. You will partner with brand leaders who know their craft better than they know a balance sheet. Your job is to make the numbers understandable, timely, and useful, and to protect the health of the whole while each brand does its work.
Director of Finance Key Responsibilities
- Direct financial strategy and accounting operations across multiple entities, brands, and locations.
- Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, banking, and tax coordination.
- Develop financial models, cash-flow forecasts, budgets, and entity-level P&Ls to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with ownership and operating leaders to analyze labor, cost of sales, profitability, and other key performance indicators.
- Manage intercompany transactions and maintain accurate, consistent accounting structures across multiple legal entities.
- Oversee banking relationships, credit cards, insurance, vendor payments, and other recurring financial obligations.
- Partner with outside CPAs and advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and regulatory compliance.
- Lead implementation and improvement of accounting systems, financial processes, and internal controls.
- Coach, mentor, and develop finance teams while establishing accountability and consistent operating standards.
- Evaluate and implement employee benefits programs, including vendor selection, compliance, enrollment, communication, and ongoing administration.
Director of Finance Qualifications
- 8-10 years of progressive upward mobility with at least 5 years in a Directoro fo Finance role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft EXCELBachelor of Science – Accounting or Finance
- MBA – Accounting
- CPA – Preferred/if applicable
- 20% travel to other properties
