JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS administration, Rocket Vertica platform support, and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting production environments, automating deployments, and ensuring system performance, availability, and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

  • Administer and support Kubernetes and Amazon EKS clusters.

  • Perform Rocket Vertica administration, upgrades, maintenance, and production support.

  • Implement infrastructure automation using AWS CloudFormation.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Perform Linux system administration and automation using Python and Shell scripting.

  • Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents.

  • Perform performance tuning and support high-availability environments.

  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6–8 years of relevant IT experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

  • Expertise in Kubernetes/EKS administration and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with Rocket Vertica administration, upgrades, and support.

  • Knowledge of CloudFormation and CI/CD tools.

  • Strong Linux administration and Python/Shell scripting skills.

  • Experience with production monitoring, performance optimization, high availability, backup/recovery, and incident support.
