 Learning Management Consultant (Technical SW Application)

Our Client is seeking a Learning Management Consultant to join their team on a long-term contract basis.  The Learning Management consultant must have proven experience working with large/complex corporate SW applications as the subject matter and an audience of business and technical application users as the audience.

I. WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

Advance content roadmap planning, drive completion of assigned action plans and migration efforts, launch and track completion of the revised proprietary corporate core application (PCCA) content management training course, prepare for operational readiness for PCCA go-live, and assess the organization's knowledge repositories and community of practice readiness.

  • Revise and launch the PCCA content management training course on the corporate Learning platform, with assignee completion tracked
  • Migrate PCCA Disaster Recovery (DR) throughput to the designated repository
  • Track PCCA action plans to completion
  • Track additional PCCA throughput to completion
  • Develop a content roadmap for knowledge documentation
  • Assess existing knowledge repositories and establish best practices on where critical knowledge should be stored, organized, and governed
  • Develop a roadmap for establishing communities of practice
  • Conduct a full knowledge transfer of all knowledge gained throughout the engagement prior to contract end, including documentation and stakeholder introductions as applicable
  • Lead and/or support Knowledge Management initiatives

II. SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 5-7 years in content strategy, knowledge management consulting, or organizational change/enablement
  • Experience building and maintaining content roadmaps or governance calendars
  • Demonstrated experience establishing or running communities of practice
  • Strong technical background to interact with developers, architects, environment managers, production support teams, etc.
  • Strong technical writing skills to draft, edit, and review system documentation
  • Working familiarity with enterprise content platforms, doesn't need to design content structures, needs to plan and coordinate against them
  • Understanding of COBIT 2019 or comparable governance framework preferred
  • Strong facilitation and training delivery skills; needs enough credibility to build trust with cross-functional teams without a long ramp-up
