Mobile Developer - Remote/Grand Rapids, MI / Minneapolis, MN

We are seeking a Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality mobile applications using React Native. You’ll lead technical initiatives, collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop scalable mobile applications using React Native.
Lead technical decisions, architecture, and project workstreams.
Build and optimize high-performance iOS and Android applications.
Develop native modules using Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java as needed.
Implement automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
Collaborate with clients, architects, QA, and engineering teams.
Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote development best practices.
Create documentation and drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring

5–7+ years of professional mobile development experience, including 4+ years with React Native and 2+ years in a senior/lead role.
Strong expertise in React Native, including Fabric, JSI, TurboModules, and Hermes.
Experience with native iOS and Android development.
Experience with mobile testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Maestro.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and modern DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
