Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure in a secure and mission-critical environment. This individual will be responsible for administering Windows-based servers, workstations, virtual environments, enterprise applications, and classified network systems. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities On a daily basis, the Systems Administrator will maintain Windows servers and client systems, manage Active Directory accounts, perform software updates and vulnerability remediation, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. They will support both physical and virtual server environments while ensuring compliance with DoD and DOE cybersecurity requirements.

This individual will work closely with end users and technical teams to resolve technical challenges, coordinate equipment installations and removals, and provide technical guidance and training as needed. They will also document system changes, troubleshooting efforts, and corrective actions to ensure consistent operational support and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows servers, workstations, and enterprise applications. Manage physical and virtual server infrastructure. Perform Active Directory administration, user provisioning, account maintenance, and access management. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network issues. Conduct vulnerability management activities and implement required remediation measures. Perform system patching, software deployments, and lifecycle management activities. Install, configure, relocate, and decommission IT equipment and peripherals.

Support classified computing environments and maintain cybersecurity compliance. Monitor system performance, availability, and security. Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and corrective action reports. Provide hands-on support and technical training to users and stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure stable and secure system operations. Maintain required certifications, qualifications, and training requirements. $30/hr to $37/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
