Job Description
Position: Senior Network Access Control Engineer
Client: Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
Location: 22nd Century Technologies, McLean, VA Clearance: • Must have Active DOD Secret Security Clearance Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain ForeScout solutions for network access control (NAC) across DCMA infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage network security appliances, ensuring compliance with DOD security policies and guidelines.
- - Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Provide technical expertise and support for ForeScout NAC solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of NAC configurations and policies to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on the proper use and management of ForeScout NAC solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements to continuously enhance network security posture.
- Generate and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, operational procedures, and incident reports.
- Participate in incident response activities and coordinate with other security teams to address security incidents promptly.
Requirements:
- Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network access control and security engineering.
- DISA Comply To Connect Deployment experience
- 802.1X deployment experience
- Extensive experience with ForeScout solutions, including deployment, configuration, and management.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with DOD security policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Certifications:
- ForeScout Certified Engineer (FSCE) certification
